What can I say about FREE COMIC BOOK DAY @ COSMIC MONKEY COMICS? It was FANTASTIC!!!
We always look forward to it and it always turns out to be one of the best days of the year. We handed out copies of our 2nd issue of FOR HIRE, we gave out free sketches, sold copies of our books and collected donations to the CHIBI COMICS CANCER FUNDRAISER.
To everybody who came out to see us, to everyone that stopped by our table, to ADAM, ANDY, TIM and everyone at Cosmic Monkey Comics we say THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR DAY!

So the reason that these are posted up so late is because when we got them back from the one hour photo they did not develp properly because the disposiable camera we had well we didn’t use flash. So heartbroken we didn’t put them up. They were lost and now they are found. Thank you Colin J Butler and Shannon Wheeler, it was awesome to hang out with you both and to share such an amazing day.

For the third year in a row, Celina and Mike are going to be signing at Cosmic Monkey Comics in Portland on Free Comic Book Day (Saturday, May 7th)!
Stop by, say hello, and get a free sketch from either of them! They’ll have copies of Voltage Book 2: The Coloring Book for free- a great FCBD title (Chibi Comics is for the kids), and the next installment in Celina’s Voltage epic. Celina and Mike will also be selling other titles for half-off, including Ashcan no.1, Chibi’s new quarterly anthology series, and Samurai and Dinosaurs, Chibi’s latest ogn.
Ashcan retails for $2, and will be sold for just $1!!! Samurai and Dinosaurs retails for $12.95, and will be sold for just $5. That’s five bucks for a 110-page graphic novel!
Signing hours will be from 10am to 2pm, and when Mike and Celina are out of books, that’s it- so get there early and grab your copies. See you there!
